Introduction
This delicious overnight oats recipe will feel like you are having dessert for breakfast. Packed full of the good stuff like oats, flaxseed and fruit, this will have you on your way to a nutritious breakfast that will keep you full until lunchtime.
Ingredients
- 40g oats
- 220ml milk of choice
- 1-2 Tbsp flaxseed
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 Tbsp honey or maple
- 1 banana
- 1 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1 piece of 70% dark chocolate, melted
- Chopped nuts of choice (optional)
Method
- 1. In a large bowl, place the oats, flaxseed and cocoa powder and mix until combined.
- 2. Add milk and honey and mix.
- 3. To a jar of your choice add the chopped banana and cover with the oat mixture.
- 4. Set in the fridge for about an hour until firm. Add the peanut butter and the melted chocolate. Leave in the fridge overnight and ready for breakfast the next morning.
- 5. Add chopped nuts or fruit and enjoy!
