Introduction

Spooky Chocolate Bark. Why not use up those Halloween treats with this delicious chocolate bark.

Ingredients

  • 200g milk/dark chocolate
  • 100g white chocolate
  • Handful of preztels
  • 1 bag Reese mini peanut butter cups
  • Ribbons of red liquorice
  • Choice of treats - we used Smarties, Kinder Bueno and Halloween sprinkles

Method

  • 1. Melt milk and white chocolate in separate bowls. The bowls should be heat proof and sitting over hot water in a saucepan. Make sure the water is not touching the bowls. Melt on a low heat until completely smooth. Then remove from heat.
  • 2. Line a tray with parchment paper. Then pour the milk chocolate and spread it evenly on the tray. Then swirl in the white chocolate.
  • 3. To make little spiders place a peanut butter cup and cut liquorice into 8 even pieces to use as legs. Using the tip of a cocktail stick dip it into the white chocolate and gently tip the peanut butter cups to make eyes.
  • 4. Scatter the pretzels and other sweet treats over the the chocolate.
  • 5. Allow to cool and then break into shards.
