Introduction
These Rudolph chocolate marshmallow tea cakes are a fun no-cook activity to do with the kids during the Christmas holidays. Only a handful of ingredients are needed to make these tasty little treats.
Ingredients
- Chocolate marshmallow tea cakes
- Curly Wurly bars
- 2-3 squares dark or milk chocolate, melted
- Red Smarties
- Sugar eyes or melted white chocolate
Method
- 1. Unwrap the marshmallow tea cakes then use a skewer or chopstick to poke 2 holes at 10 and 2 o’clock on each tea cake.
- 2. Cut the Curly Wurly bars into 3 equal pieces, then cut each piece diagonally to make the 2 antlers.
- 3. Gently push the pointed end of each Curly Wurly ‘antler’ into the 2 holes poked into each tea cake.
- 4. Dab the back of a Smartie with melted chocolate and stick it to the centre of the tea cake for the nose, then stick 2 sugar eyes just above the nose with a bit of melted chocolate. Alternatively, 2 little dots of melted white chocolate can be used to draw the eyes.
- 5. Leave to set for a few minutes.
