Introduction
Baked Camembert Looking for a quick and easy starter or maybe a simple dish for when unexpected guests arrive? Our delicious baked Camembert is perfect for both.
Ingredients
- 250g Camembert
 - 5 tips of fresh rosemary
 - 1 clove of garlic, sliced lengthways
 - 1-2 slices of sourdough or stale bread
 - Olive oil
 - Sea salt
 - 3-4 Tbsp cranberry sauce, to serve
 
Method
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan assisted/gas 4 and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
 - 2. Leave the Camembert in its box and piearce the top of the cheese 5 times then insert a tip of fresh rosemary and a few slices of garlic in each piercing. Place on prepared baking tray.
 - 3. Cut sourdough or stale bread into wedges, spread out on a baking tray and drizzle with olive oil then season with salt and pepper.
 - 4. Bake both cheese and bread in the oven until the centre of the Camembert is soft and gooey in the middle and the bread is toasted. About 10-15 minutes.
 - 5. Leave Camembert in its box and place on a board to serve with toasted bread and cranberry sauce.
