Introduction
Fresh scallops need little adornment, but we love this quick and super impressive recipe. Courtesy of food blogger Alexandra https://iadorefood.com/recipes/asian-style-scallops/
Ingredients
- 12 scallops
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- To serve:
- 1 tbsp flat leaf parsley
Method
- 1. Put your scallops in a small bowl and add all of the other ingredients to it. Mix well, cover and leave in the fridge to marinate for at least an hour.
- 2. Head a heavy-based pan. Wait until the pan is hot and put the scallops on the heat for about 2 to 3 minutes (enough time for it to get a nice golden brown crust).
- 3. Turn the scallops and cook for 2 to minutes again.
- 4. Put the scallops on a plate.
- 5. With the same pan, heat up the leftover marinade for about a minute or so and drizzle on the scallops. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
