Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp plain flour
  • 3 tbsp caster sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • ¼ tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 2 tbsp chocolate drops
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • ½ tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 2 tbsp icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp mascarpone
  • 1 orange, zest
  • 2 small mugs or cups

Method

  • 1. Place the plain flour, caster sugar and coco powder into a medium bowl. Mix in the egg, milk and rapeseed oil and vanilla bean paste with a whisk.
  • 2. Divide between the 2 small mugs or cups. Push 1 tbsp of chocolate drops into each mug.
  • 3. To cook, microwave in the mug for 3 minutes on high (700watts microwave) but check after 2 and half minutes. Allow to cool for 2 minutes before serving it with the topping. Repeat the cooking process for the other chocolate mug.
  • 4. Tip: Serve with a ginger and orange segments.
