Introduction
Boiled egg & soldiers – A classic breakfast that kids will love.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 4 slices of granary bread/ brown bread
- Salt & pepper
- Butter
Method
- 1. Fill a saucepan with water and bring to the boil.
- 2. Place the eggs into the water gently and cook for 5 minutes.
- 3. Remove and cut off the top.
- 4. Toast the bread and butter it. Cut in half and then cut toast into strips.
- 5. Season the egg with a bit of salt and pepper and serve, with soldiers on the side.
