Allergy & Free From Expos
Tue Oct 07 2014
The Allergy & Free From Expos are Ireland’s largest consumer exhibitions dedicated to those suffering from allergies, intolerances and/or leading a free-from life. These events take place in the RDS, Dublin on October 11 & 12 and City Hall, Cork on November 8 & 9, 2014.
The goal of the Expo is to deliver by way of a fun family day out, all the answers allergy and free-from sufferers need, under one roof with information, advice, seminars, cookery demonstrations, shopping and tastings, as well as a showcase of the best ‘free-from’ food and service suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
The Kitchen Zone will host many well-known chefs and nutritionists such as celebrity chef, Kevin Dundon of Dunbrody Country House Hotel, Eddie Eriksson of Cornucopia, Lorraine Fitzmaurice from Blazing Salads and Erika Doolan, nutritionist to Rustic Stone & Fade Street Social restaurants, all demonstrating exciting and interactive free-from recipes and meal ideas.
The Expos free-to-attend Seminars from leading experts will offer the latest research and findings on allergies, coeliac disease, skin conditions, food intolerances and food labelling amongst other topics. The talks will also include first-hand accounts from parents of children suffering from allergies and intolerances and the challenges they face with normal everyday activities.
There are free 1-2-1 Advice Clinics which are run in association with the Asthma Society of Ireland, the Irish Skin Foundation and Anaphylaxis Ireland. The clinics will allow visitors the opportunity to speak privately to our experts to discuss their concerns and/or to seek answers for any pressing questions or symptoms.
The main Exhibition arena will host the best ‘free from’ suppliers in the country and internationally, all offering their latest products for you to try such as PureBred Bakery, SuperValu Ireland, Avonmore Foods, Kelkin, BFree Foods, Juvela, Keogh’s Crisps, Foods of Athenry, Riso Gallo, Byron Bay Cookies, Glenisk, Dr. Schär, Sowan’s Organic, The Gluten Free Kitchen Company, KoKo Dairy Free, Allergy Counts Clinic, Clontarf Allergy Clinic plus many, many more free-from products, services therapies, treatments and solutions.
