Foodies need to keep their feet warm! Kai restaurant in Galway has partnered up with Irish Socksciety to design these fabulous food-themed socks. The turnips represent the local quality ingredients used in the restaurant and the warmth of the socks remind you of how you’ll feel after a lovely meal.

50 Things to Eat in Dublin – €19.99 – buy from Fifty Things to Do.

Here’s a very cute idea. Inside this jar are twenty pieces of paper and written on each one is something to eat in Dublin. This is a great way to expand your taste buds and eat your way around the city.

L. Mulligan Hip Flask Service – €20 – buy from L. Mulligan Whiskey Shop.

L. Mulligan has a hip flask service and this would be a great gift for any whiskey aficionados. You buy the special L. Mulligan hip flask (€20) and the owner then has access to every whiskey being dispensed from the bespoke mini-cask and demijohns in the L Mulligan Whiskey Shop in Dublin. You have to pay for each individual whiskey, but there are some limited whiskeys on offer and it is a great way to try without having to buy a whole bottle.

Handmade with 100% Irish sustainable, traceable wood, this chopping board doubles up as a cheese and pizza board. This Irish company is based in Carlow and can engrave messages onto the boards for an extra personal touch.

Pestle & Mortar – €48 – buy from the Irish Design Shop.

This is part of the Irish Design Shop’s Áras homeware collection. Two Irish artists make this beautiful set. Rosemarie Durr hand-throws the ceramic mortar in her studio in Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny and Matt Jones hand-turns the beautifully tactile pestles in his workshop in Riverstown, Co. Sligo.
