Neven Maguire’s book The Nation’s Favourite Food Fast published by Gill &Macmillan won the Avonmore Cookbook of the Year last night at the Irish Book Awards. A celebration of all things good and great in the Irish publishing scene, the night was filled with the glitterati of the written word. Taking to Twitter to celebrate his win, Neven thanked Avonmore, stylist Sharon Hearne Smith, food writer Orla Broderick and photographer Joanne Byrne, all of whom collaborated on his latest tome.
