Big Business For Bord Bia

Over 400 of the world’s most fabulous food buyers jet into Ireland this week to be entertained by Bord Bia at Marketplace, the biggest ever buyer event staged in Ireland. The week-long event will host 100 buyers from Asia, as well as those from Australia, Canada, America and South Africa and will take them to meet the producers of some of our most popular products. Bord Bia chief executive Aidan Cotter said this was the biggest business development event the State agency had ever hosted. “It represents a huge opportunity to showcase the breadth, depth and capabilities that have enabled the industry to build a €10.5 billion export platform and reach out to 175 markets around the world.”
