Supervalu Launch New Bakery Range

The team of top bakers at SuperValu have been working hard ahead of the launch of their delicious new range of breads and cakes – available now fresh from the ovens, with aromas already wafting around a store near you. The new range includes traditional Irish favourites to health and world breads. The entire range is prepared with the highest quality flour and uses only the essential ingredients to ensure delicious, authentic bread, pastry or cake for the entire family to share.
The SuperValu World and Healthy Bread range is inspired by flavours from abroad and come packed with the benefits of super-foods. The new Hi Fibre Seed and Carrot Bread is a light-texture crusty cob packed with multi-grain fibre, real carrot and delicious sunflower, pumpkin, linseed and sesame seeds. Other new additions to the range include an Oats and Chia Seed Cob, Rye Sourdough with Sunflower Seeds and a delicious Tomato and Fennel Loaf that is packed with Mediterranean flavour made from chopped tomatoes and the super-food fennel seeds.
The SuperValu bakery team has also worked with Irish baking specialists to bring a wholesome and delicious range of traditional Irish sodas and scones using natural ingredients like real Irish butter, buttermilk and whole egg and baked according to traditional methods. The range includes 100% Wholemeal Stoneground Soda, Brown Round Soda Bread, Great Taste award winning Sean’s Brown Bread and some yummy all butter scones – perfect served warm from the bakery with some jam and cream.
What bakery is complete without some decadent cakes! Try some of the moist, sweet loaves that use natural ingredients like real lemon zest, dark Belgian chocolate and succulent mixed berries. Or indulge in sumptuous treats like the new Chocolate Brownies with Raspberry and Amaretti or the Rocky Road Biscuit Slice made with Belgian chocolate, butter and crunchy biscuit chunks.
