Not quite sure what to do with your leftovers at Christmas? Try BFree Turkey & Ham Bake 

Ingredients:

  • 500g leftover turkey and ham
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 150g frozen peas
  • 350ml chicken stock
  • 200ml crème fraiche
  • 4 tsp gluten free cornflour
  • 2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • 100g cheese, grated
  • 3-4 slices BFree bread
  • Thyme
  • Parsley
  • Butter
  • BFree White Loaf

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Blitz the breadcrumbs in a food processor, add the herbs and stir in 1 tbsp melted butter. Set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a pan and sautee the onion and garlic until soft.
  4. Add in the stock and peas and mustard, crème fraiche and meat. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Mix the cornflour with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir into the sauce. Continue to simmer until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Transfer the mixture to an ovenproof dish and top with the breadcrumb mix.
  7. Bake for 25 mins.
