Adopt a Tree with Pink Lady®

Tue Apr 13 2021

We are delighted to team up with Pink Lady® this year as part of their ‘Adopt a Tree’ initiative.

The initiative allows all apple lovers to get involved to find out more about the life cycle of apples. With adopting a tree you will receive four newsletters with updates and pictures of your tree and maybe pick up you own apples in the autumn !

Pink Lady®  have the perfect balance between sweetness and tartness and their apples have a unique blend of honey, vanilla, rose and spicy flavours making them perfect for baking with.

The even better news is that we are giving all of our readers/followers the opportunity to adopt a tree and it’s completely FREE.

Here is what you need to do:

Fun Facts:

  1. Pink Lady® apple trees are in blossom at the moment and only for a period of 2 to 10 days.
  2. This is an essential stage for the proper development of the fruit since pollination takes place during this short timespan.
  3. Pollinators especially bees are essential for fertilising apple blossoms and turning them into fruit. Good pollination is key to a successful harvest.
